I don't have scaffolding experience with Ben Avery's company, BUT he showed such kindness that I would 100% recommend him as a trusting person. I accidentally lost my work bag on the road, and instead of leaving it there he took the time to look for any ID and actually dropped my bag off at the closest NatWest bank branch. They called me and within 1hr I had my bag back. My name is Mick Taylor of MASTEX TEXCRETE LTD and we specialise in external wall / roof coating systems. 80 % of our work in London is done on Scaffolding and I would like to offer a review on AVERY SCAFFOLDING LTD as I think they went above and beyond of what we needed. I cant than Ben enough for working in with our difficult time frames, nothing was to much trouble for him to enable us to keep to our own time lines. In short this was one of the safest scaffolds we have ever worked on and we will be using AVERY for all of our future contracts in London. Its nice to deal with a company that understands your own access requirements , checks that your happy with it, and is on call to help straight away. The glass installer, engineer and two sets of builders all commented (unprompted) on what a neat job it was. They were great. They came across as a business that actually wanted to provide a good service. I work in the construction field and when dealing with domestic contractors I always expect to have to manage them to some extent but Ben made it easy and filled me with confidence. An example of this was arranging the installation date. Getting a start date from the decorators who were to paint from front of my house proved to be a bit of a problem and because of this I didn't recontact Avery to arrange the scaffolding until 10 days before they were due. I asked for a Friday install ready for the decorators the next week but Ben quickly said that this might be a problem due to already programmed work. He was really keen to provide the scaffolding so we agreed that if at all possible the installation team would come on the Friday (it was made clear that the chance was small) but if not I was promised without fail they would be there on the Monday first thing. The Wednesday before I was messaged to say that the Friday was now definitely not possible but at 8am on the Monday the truck was outside and the scaffold was up by 11am. The Monday install was fine because the decorators has given a week commencing start date and the scaffolding was up and ready for when then finally turned up on the Wednesday! I wouldn't hesitate to use Avery again.
